I used the pump to replace the original 43 year old one. This pump is the only available replacement. Easier to install as the hoses connect to the front rather than the bottom like in the original pump. The plug was compatible with the original and began working without an issue. Had to order two pumps as the first one had been dropped so hard the metal frame was significantly bent. Issued a refund in a few days.
