Exactly as advertised. Easy to install with basic experience. This isn't rocket science. It's a pipe on a pipe with a clamp. But its a tailpipe going onto a crappy old rusted 5" exhaust pipe. So be ready to use your brain muscle, your hands, practical experience, and common sense. You can do this. But don't be a wimp. I read the positive and negative feedbacks. Here's what you should consider : 1. When done correctly, this pipe goes on reasonably easily and looks great after thousands of miles. 2. Don't try to install onto a crappy, rusted, falling apart exhaust pipe. Either cut back the existing pipe to solid metal with a handheld grinder and cutting wheel or get a new muffler/tailpipe. 2. Slide this pipe onto the existing to full depth. Don't sissy this step. You need to get it all the way on. Measure, mark correct depth. Clean the existing pipe. Test fit. If you can't test fit, you have a problem/s with the existing pipe. Fix the existing before you try to cram the new on. 3. Tighten correctly and well. Don't sissy this step, either. Get in there with the correct tools tighten it good. And then 1 more. 4. I read the reviews about drilling and bolting to the existing. That was my first reaction too. But I didn't. Bc the manufacturer provided a nice heavy clamp that worked well and bc bolts/holes will corrode, loosen, compromise material with rain and extreme heat/cool cycles. This is a good looking, durable, easy t to install tailpiece when correctly installed. Buy with confidence.
