Really sturdy fabrics, and nice big pockets. The large zipper pocket is bigger than my 5x8 legal pads I stuff it with, for note taking. The front pocket would prolly hold 20+ pens/pencils! Also, I love that it's see thru so I know what I'm grabbing. Zippers function w/out catching, and it fits perfectly in my folder w/brads. I'm sure it would work perfectly in a 3 ring binder, it's just not what I needed it for. It looks like a big pencil bag but, it didn't cost much, and it holds everything I need and more!
