I bought one barrel from Amazon and another barrel locally. Both were about the same price, but I like the barrel from Amazon better because it has more character. You can see the wine stains and black marks in the picture, which to make make it more beautiful. I bought ithe barrel to use as table for my outdoor porch because it's sturdy, beautiful, inexpensive and too heavy for our local porch pirates. I was glad all the metal rings were attached, otherwise, I would have been happy with anything. If you want a certain look or height, you might want to buy locally.
