The dress style boots from Blundstone run long as the toe box tapers and squares off. Because of this some customers may need to size down and choosing the right size can be confusing. After ready many reviews I made a guess as to what size I would and I think I got it right. My example is that I normally wear a US size 8.5 (always my Vans size). This is difficult with Blundstones as the half size only ads width ad not length, so I could not just size down by a half size in this shoe and I was afraid a whole size would be too much. However after reading other experiences that seemed to be the way to go. So, I wear a US 8.5, sizing down a half size to an 8 wouldn't really do me any good since it would only make the show more narrow and not shorter, which is what I wanted. So I ended up going with a US 7.5 (AUS 6.5) to make the boot shorter, but also keep it wide enough to accommodate my foot size. This seems to have worked well for me.The boots look great, the deep read color is fantastic and the leather seems to be nice quality (better than Dr. Martens). The only issue I have encounter is that there is a lip on the inside where two materials of the lining meet and on the left boot the outer most material doesn't lay flush and there is a part of it that is hard (perhaps glue or some melted nylon) that pokes my heal. It seems to be a small manufacturer's defect as the right boot does not have the same problem. I'm still deciding if I want to exchange them or if I think it is something that will wear in as I have only tried them on for size at this point.I LOOVVVEEEE these!!!! I was back and forth for about a month on purchasing these. I read a ton of reviews on all the different models and finally settled on the dress series so I can wear them to the office. I wasn’t sure if I should get the 8 or 8.5. My foot is a true 8 but some brands feel too small and I get an 8.5. I’m really glad I went with the 8 it’s roomy in the toe but doesn’t feel like it’s too big. I can fit a nice pair of wool socks and still be comfy. These are warm! I wasn’t expecting them to feel so warm without any type of furry liner. They feel light on my foot but not too light. Very comfortable right out of the box. I literally feel like I have a spring in my step wearing these. My only slight issue is that they are pretty hard to tale off, but I appreciate how secure my foot feels in them. Would buy again would recommend to anyone. These are my new favorite boots easily.You need to check out the Blundstone sizing before ordering these. If you do a search for Blundstone unisex sizing you can go to EverthingAustralian.com. They have a chart telling you what the normal size is and what the Blundstone size is for a particular size of foot in inches and cm. The Blundstone size is almost always 1 size less than the U.S. size, so a U.S. size 12 is a U.S. size 11 for Bludnstone's. I initially made the mistake of using the little 3D gizmo which recommended a U.S. 10 when I normally wear a U.S.12. Sure enough they were too small and I had to send them back for an 11.The 11 fits perfectly. They're a bit stiff and, like all pull on boots, they're a bit hard to get on the first 2-3 times, but they soon start to get broken in. They're very comfortable. I've only had them a few days. Time will tell, but for now they're great. I've already had a couple people ask what kind of boots they are and where I got them.I love these boots. So comfortable! True to size and glad I made the purchase.Absolutely love em! Glad i listened to the positive reviews. I can tell these boots are very well made and will last a long time. I just went thru a cheap pair of dockers that started coming apart in 6 months. I have only wore these blundstones a few times and they are still breaking in but the look and feel is great already. Oh i cut the pull straps off because they were getting in the way. And well made. . . . bgs.These are incredibly comfortable for my soomewhat wide feet. they are however, a challenge to get on and off but this is grtting easier. right now they are not my quick-slip-ons yo run outside for a minute.Blundstone has been my most worn footwear for over 15 years now they are a well made boot i've two pair that I wear now and another I retired. The two pair of blue in soles they come with now are nothing like the high quality brown in soles they came with 15 years ago (they lasted the life of the boot and beyond and were comfortable) the ones now not so much.The return system online work promptly, still I felt compelled to contact Softmoc customer service and they were more than understanding of my particular situation. when I come time for a new pair Blundstone boots I'll buy them from them for sure.BLUNDSTONEmakes a great boot. My order came and I did not like the rounded toe FOR ME.I live in a town that everyone wears Blundstone. I wanted to fit in.I lived in Toronto all my life and with that came high fashion and high heels.That all changed when I got sick.I packed up and moved to a small town .I'm adjusting.The boots were going to be my first step for me.Well there are plenty of Blundstone to choose from.Everything was all roses until I went to the post office and was charged $16 to send them back.I got no return label. These boots were not going back to Amazon. It was going to a store called soft moc. If I knew I would of just bought them at a store.This experience left a bad taste in my mouth.If I do order from Amazon again,I will make sure there is no other proprietor in the transaction.I want that $16 back.I didn't have money to pay for my $16 Starbucks.Ooh I forgot I don't live in the city anymore.I have a hard time with Blundstone sizing, I am usually a women’s 9 but the Blundstone 6’s are too big on me (even with the indoor) and the 5.5’s are a little too squishy. . So I went with a chisel tow in a 5.5 as recommended by Blunstone as they’re supposed to be a longer fit. They definitely fit me better. They are my favourite!!!Loved the boots, however I returned them thought I order rustic black suede and they were black leather. Beautiful boots though. I got the ones I wanted very happy with them.Great boots and fast delivery I will buy agian.
