Description

Cressi’s latest addition to its extensive line of world renowned fins is the Frog Plus open heel scuba diving fin. The Frog Plus features many of the great characteristics of a traditional paddle fin along with introducing a revolutionary new blade material that is both extremely durable and nearly indestructible. The Frog Plus utilizes Cressi’s patented three material injection molding process. The three materials consist of a nice comfortable rubber on the foot pocket that extends up the side rails of the blade. The second material is the revolutionary new dual density techno polymer which forms the blade, and in conjunction with the third silicone based material creates a channeling effect. The channeling effect is the characteristic of the fin that enables a high level of energy to be transferred in both up and down strokes of the kick pattern. The Frog Plus also incorporates Cressi’s patented positioning of the foot pocket below the blade. This design increases the working surface area of the blade by 20%. The combination of the channeling effect and the foot pocket mounted beneath the blade creates a very powerful and efficient fin with minimal leg strain. Because of these characteristics, the Frog Plus fin is an ideal choice for the entry level to advanced diver. The Frog Plus is designed and made in Italy by Cressi, a brand pioneer in Scuba Diving, Snorkeling and Swimming equipment since 1946. The product is covered by a 2-year limited warranty.

Swim faster and come up dryer ? these fins are comfortable and durable. I recommend wearing high water socks with themBought these fins based on web reviews. tried on with boot and seem very comfortable. will be diving later this month, sure they will be good. quick service and no problems in shipping.I wear a size 9 shoe, which according to Amazon's site was Medium-Large. It is not. These fins swallow my dive boots. I assumed the Small-Medium's would be for kids and smaller ladies, but no, I guess that would have worked better for me. But I am not going to spend half of what I did on the fins sending them back to swap. This is the pitfall of online ordering! It's a high-quality product, really convenient for putting on and taking off your feet, and it's extremely comfy while snorkeling.Womens size 8 shoe bought two sizes and with booties the xs was wayyy better. But you do need to use the tall booties past your ankle with these fins or the back strap thing will rub. Perfect for carry on bag scuba and snorkeling.i am a women's size 7 shoe i bought the smallest available option the S/M it was way to big! i tightened the strap down all the way and it was still to big i tried everything i could i pulled the strap tried to tie them together and put a not in it so it wouldn't come lose! id have to stop every few minutes to try and retie them again! for me this was a waste of money but i will end up giving them to my boyfriend and and going to a dive shop an hour away to make sure if i ever get the chance to go on vacation again that i will have fins that fit! These are SO comfortable and absolutely beautiful! I’m an advanced diver with 120+ dives. For reference, I’m a woman’s 8 in closed toe shoes and I ordered S/M fins.Pros:- lightweight, I’m impressed.- rigid enough, but flexible at the same time.- a comfortable fit! I wear them with my Cressi isla zip-up neoprene boots, size 7. No tight spots, no blisters. They have a removable plastic insert for size adjustability. If they’re too tight, just take it off.- adjustable heel strap works fine. These fins are easy and quick to put on and take off after diving.- not excessively long.- performed well with currents - Galápagos Islands.Cons:None yet. Will update this review if something were to come along.Great fins for chicks. Medium blade strength. Super light. The only complaint is that they don’t have spring straps so I had to buy separately.I am very happy with the quality of the fins. Be aware that you need proper boots to use these fins. I recommend 5mm boots, as the shoe pockets are quite wide. The reason for this is probably that they can be used for all diving applications, including deep and cold water diving, so that thick/warm or even dry suit boots will have to fit into them as well. I am a size UK 5 and ordered size XS/S, which works well for me, my boots do not stick out too much at the heel (max. 1cm).Fit was ok, however the fins started to split after about 2-3 days of use (max 7 dives!) and was unsafe to continue diving with especially as we were doing deep dives.I’m travelling and diving on and off for 3 months and now I’m having to try find new fins to replace them in Central America so I can continue. This is not the level of quality I would expect from a brand like Cressi at all. When I’ve contacted Cressi they are unable to provide a refund as they are “not the direct seller” yet there is no way for me to contact Amazon to discuss this. The only option I am left with is having a replacement sent to the UK (where I no longer live and am not returning to so I can’t receive them). I also wouldn’t use them as I don’t trust that this style of fin would not fail again. Overall I’m really disappointed with the product and customer service from Cressi.Recieved these in the post today, i own both palau and palau saf's in size S/M good snorkeling fin's only once had an issue with strap's and it was my fault for not checking my foot was fully inserted inside them ( son use's saf's ) the blade is about 6 in's bigger than the palau's, and the foot pocket although look's about the same size in length it is wider and bigger in height so your feet slide further into them, i tried them on with 3mm neropene sock's and they adjusted to the last setting's on the strap's, although they don't feel loose only a trial while diving will give me that answer in april, my shoe size are 6 - 6.5 (fin's are s/m 5-7) so if your feet are size 7 i would try these instead of going for the medium size 7-8, and if your feet are a size 5 these would be to big for you go for the XS/S size which are for feet 3-5.They look good, so i will take a chance and keep them or look for thicker sock's if they seem to slip.Good quality fins for diving. Bought these for my girlfriend who has size 3 feet and they fitted great with her slim wetsuit booties. The first set came without their retaining pins which meant that the straps could come adrift from the fins easily when taking them off at the end of the dive but amazon replaced them with no quibble. Can't wait to try these out in the sea. Great fit.
