Ordered and received our big yellow trash can in January 2016 for about 65 bucks. No rolling trash can had survived our trash guys (awesome dudes but they YEET the cans after dumping them) for more than 1-2 years before this one. It is going onto 6 years of constant use, rolling from our garage to the curb and being yeeted occasionally. It has developed tiny holes in the bottom on one side from scraping against the concrete regularly by our toddler and maybe me too occasionally. But still works great.Honestly, I'm buying this one again when ours wears out...well, if it's 100 bucks or less. The current price of 120 seems a bit high but I'm hoping that's from the current state of pandemic shipping costs and backups...This can came quickly and works perfectly. Seems like it will last a long timeIs it weird to be in love with a trash can?For 7 years, I've been hanging on to my old trash can. I never really enjoyed my old trash can (I found it at Walmart and it was the cheapest one available) but I just cringe at the thought of paying $100 for something that holds trash! Well my old trash can was in pretty bad shape. It wasn't really tough to begin with and after 7 years of abuse, the handle had long broken off, the bottom was coming undone, but it still technically "worked". Well a few weeks ago I took the trash out and when I came back home my trash was gone, but so was my trash can. Now I suppose it's possible that someone stole my poor little trash can but I just don't see why when my neighbors have definitely got some better options. My best guess is that my trash guys decided that my trash can needed to go.Fast forward to the now, tomorrow morning is trash day and I'm a little excited. I took the trash out tonight because I can't bring myself to wake up at 5:00 am when my trash guys get here. I personally love that the trash can is yellow. I think it really stands out and if someone does try to take it I think it would be easy to find. Wheeling my trash out was so lovely! Granted I haven't had a handle on my old trash can in years, but I'm pretty sure it didn't feel this great. The handle is so sturdy and the wheels are big and it's just so easy to maneuver.And you really can't beat the price. At Walmart and Home Depot, the trash cans comparable to this size were almost double the price.I love the "bumblebee" trash can, it serves its purpose but it's a lot lighter than I thought it would be. As I roll it along the ground, if the wheels hit an uneven area it flips on its side...smh.Bought it a few months ago and so far this is a good purchase. Is easy to wash and the plastic is good quality. If in the future I have any issues with the product, I will update.Great Buy!!Our trash co. does not provide containers for recycling.....so, we have been lugging it out to the curb in boxes and an old trash can. It's a long driveway we live with and having to make several trips has been getting to be a real pain. Saw this on Amazon and made the plunge! It holds plenty for our two week accumulation and room for a bit more. Very well built, easy to pull and stands out being bright yellow and easy for the trash man to empty. Put our name and address on it, along with the bright yellow would make it rather difficult to get lost or ripped off----not that we have a problem. Everything goes into one container now instead of the several that we had to use before-----how much better could life get? Very pleased with the purchase. A quality product at a good price!I got tired of spending money for good costly garbage cans with lids that snapped on the top of the garbage Rubbermaid container and then having the Sanitation men just throw the lids down any where, whether it was in front of the neighbors or even on the street, and more disturbing was having them drive over the lids with their heavy garbage truck and breaking them. So I was looking for Garbage Bins with lids that were attached. This particular one was more expensive than the two other garbage bins I purchased on Amazon.com; but this Rubbermaid garbage bin is a durable and heavy duty, which will take a good spanking. I know I paid more for the yellow bin (but it is an extra heavier made bin), with the necessity of recycling I needed to have the three different colors.
