This planter is perfect....Love it!!!Nicely fills in a corner. Love the color/texture.Put some of the packing in bottom of planter before putting in my artificial 6’ ficus. Could then see a bit more of the trunk and made it the perfect height. I have had many compliments! Also bought one size down for a money tree on my balcony. Hope it grows large denominations! Lol!I purchased 3 of these planters because my clay pots were disintegrating. Although these pots are resin, they look realistic. They are not very heavy, so if you live in a windy area you might need to put something heavy in the bottom. I also put a Bloem Ups-A-Daisy Square Planter Lift Insert (TS6321), Orange, 11" into each pot to reduce the amount of soil I have to use and also to allow for interior drainage. The lift inserts fit about halfway down. There are no drainage holes, but they can easily be drilled. I recommend them.Those who are complaining that " it is not terra cotta" are mistaken in their judgement. . It clearly is only the color noted to be terra cotta. It is not concrete or similar. IT is clearly stated what the materials are. It is lightweight and just needs some heavy brick or two at the bottom, to stabilize it. The terra cotta color is great, and does look like stone. It has some swirl and looks realistic, as a real pot that may have some light blotch or swirl to it. I highly recommend it for the price. It looks like the ones that are nearly $100 each, so I am satisfied, as I carefully read the information.I got this through Amazon Warehouse for $25 and created a bamboo art piece. Place styrofoam blocks at bottom, 10 bamboo poles inserted into styrofoam and bamboo leaves attached with hot glue gun. Fill with one can of hard drying foam to keep poles in place and add Spanish moss to fill.Beautiful and absolutely a great value. I bought two; one for each side of my front door. Twenty-eight inches is the ideal height. I see some reviewers complaining about color variation - mine has some too, but I do not consider this a defect. I looked for "chocolate" colored planters for my front door for about a month, both in stores and online. These were exactly what I had in mind and cost less than nearly all planters of this height. Very happy.Perfect for a plant that I never want to have to transplant again due to being root bound.It’s perfect! Thank you!
