Lightweight yet stable all-round hiking shoe with Goretex. The upper material made of 60% suede and 40% textile ensures lightness and durability. The Goretex membrane makes this women's hiking shoe waterproof and breathable. The Lowa DuraPU midsole absorbs optimally and allows a natural rolling movement when hiking. The newly developed Lowalima rubber sole is lighter and more grippy than the previous model of the Taurus 2. A really great development of a top seller. Früher stets Meindl, nun erstmalig Lowa. Superbequem, Wanderungen sind ohne Probleme durchführbar. Ich würde aber jedem raten, ggf. eine GANZE Nummer mehr zu ordern. Ich habe 44 und 44 1/2 genommen. Bei starkem Gefälle rutsche ich ein WENIG (!) gegen die Spitze. Nun, zu meiner Dummheit kann der Schuh nix, aus Erfahrung wird man halt klüger.Die Sohle erscheint verschleissfester als die von Meindl (dort leider auch keine Vibram mehr), allerdings rutscht sie gerne auf nassen Felsen oder Kanaldeckeln.Unser Schuhmachermeister sagte dazu, dass aber auch die heutigen Vibram Sohlen aus China kämen, sie sollen nicht mehr so sein, wie früher erlebt. Schade.
