For your information, I'm 5'9" and around 160lb, bought a L/XL and it perfectly fits me. As it has a lot of adjustable parts, it will also fit people much bigger than I am.Before using this, I used to wear a PFD with a fully padded back and it was really annoying because the backrest of the chair on my kayak kept pushing my PFD upward while I was paddling or fishing on it. But with the arrival of this one, all my pain disappeared. After paddling 7-8 miles and spending a few hours fishing, I felt really comfortable, the PFD wasn't going anywhere, and there was no issue.Do not buy a cheap one and come back and buy this one as I did, but just buy a good one at once to save your money and time.I highly recommend this one and I don't think it would be waste of money.I am 6' 1" and 185 lbs. Wear a 40 inch suit jacket. The L / XL fits great. Plenty of extra room for more adjustments to the vest. It is very comfortable to paddle in all day. The pockets are great and large enough for phone and other necessary equipment. Haven't went swimming in it yet, so I can't speak to buoyancy.I’m 6’1” and 260 this fits me like a glove. It’s cooler than my others and less restraining. Very comfortable sitting in my Ride 115 kayak seat. The pockets are large and easy to assess, I can put my iPhone in one and my 38 snubnose revolver in the other (I have snake issue.). I have a 38” waist and and big shoulder and this vest fits very well. Has many adjustment straps. I can swim in it easy.Took it for a paddle tonight. Within a few minutes I forgot that I was wearing it--just what you want in a PFD!A light and comfortable PFD and the heavy nylon material is very good quality with nice Gold down front pockets.Not especially comfortable. Back is bulkyVery nice! Comfortable to fish and paddle.Seemed great and was a clear winner for a PFD for a kayak but for fishing it fails for my use. I wanted a PFD that could hold my gear while walking rivers/streams in waders. But the pockets are too small to hold even the smallest of fishing containers.
