If you thread the strap through and then reverse it back up to the first slot and poke it through it will help lock the strap in place. Too bad there is a problem with this, it is a good product otherwise if you have a wide forefoot. Keen needs to be more proactive with fixes. Their customer service is polite but fairly useless. Some of their products are great others, not so much. If you need a wide toe box they are about the only show in town.I've been on a quixotic quest to find sandals I liked as much as the quiksilver city walkers for about 20 years. These might actually be up to replacing them. Sturdy footbed and one that fits my wide size 12 boats pretty well like other Keen shoes I've had. The strap option is what convinced me to try them out; I like that I can adjust them out of the box and not have to worry about squeezing into a toe sandal that's too tight.So far just wearing them around the house they're living up to the hype. Just one more reason to look forward to warmer weather. However, it looked like I got a slightly used pair; the soles were dirty and they didn't come attached to each other. They were clean enough I wasn't worried about trying them on but it's annoying enough to take a star off. It might come back if these are good enough this summer.I really like the way these feel. I have a very narrow foot and the strap make the flip flop fit. Unfortunately, the strap doesn't hold very long. I have to reverse the strap back into the clamp. Maybe if the teeth were sharper in the clamp it may hold better.Been a huge fan of Keen shoes for a long time. Had a bad experience with the last few pair of flip flops (working it out with service team-who has been great by the way) so was somewhat hesitant of purchasing these. These fit amazing pretty much off the bat and the fact that they were adjustable made it all the better. I normally wear a 10.5 in shoes and took an 11 in these, knowing that I could pull the staps in a bit for a tighter fit. You won't be disappointed. These are great to wear around the house and yard and I think will work great for light hiking as well.Constantly comes loose, and @ most inopportune times too...I have to agree with the many other posts about the strap coming loose. Needs a design change to secure the strap. Otherwise it would be a great hybrid sandal. Let’s work on the Keen. Otherwise, a very comfortable sandal, it’s not stopping me from wearing them.Good concept, poor execution. These would be great if they worked, but in one walk around the neighborhood the straps came loose so many times I almost had to finish my walk barefoot. Because, when the strap isn't right, these don't fit like a regular flip-flop, they get so loose they barely stay on your feet. And the strap doest stay right AT ALL. Too bad too, because the sole and footbed are great. They'd be great for a lot of outdoor activities, but as I said, they ruined a simple walk on city sidewalks, so tidepooling, fishing, river use, or even tooling around town are out of the question. Luckily when I put in the color and size I need the price was very, very good. Now they're over 3 times what I paid last week.Very comfy. They're still pretty rigid because they aren't worn in yet when they do i expect they will be much more comfortable.Sole and footbed are excellent, however for me the strip between my toes was the cause to return these flops. This strip was far too short for comfort such that it started to scar my toes after a few minutes round the house. So sad to return them.......... a little more thought to make this inter-toe strip more comfortable and they would be ideal.Ich suche schon seit sehr langer Zeit nach einstellbaren Flip Flops, da die normalen Dinger aufgrund meiner Fußform immer zu locker sitzen und ich mit den Zehen "kralle".Ich war super begeistert, als ich diese Teile gefunden habe und musste natürlich gleich bestellen.Schon am nächsten Tag angekommen, rein geschlüpft und erst mal total begeistert.Dann kamen allerdings ein paar Kleinigkeiten.-Die Lasche des Einstellbandes ist im Lieferzustand schon recht lang. Wenn man also die Bänder etwas enger ziehen will/muss, muss man sehen wo man die lange Lasche hin packt damit man nicht drauf rum läuft.Ich habe sie in der Schnalle nach oben durchgeführt, so hält es ganz gut.-Wenn man die Lasche enger zieht, zieht man quasi an dem Band an dem der Zehensteg befestigt ist. Umso enger man sie also stellt, umso mehr zieht man den Fersensteg "quer" in Richtung Aussenfuss. Dadurch kann es im Zehenzwischenraum zu Reibung kommen, was an den Füßen schnell unangenehm wird.Ansonsten sind sie wirklich angenehm durch das ergonomische Fussbett und durch die dickere Sohle läuft man sicher.Ich behalte sie auf jeden Fall, auch wenn ich mich an die Reibung erst noch ein bisschen gewöhnen muss.Muss jeder für sich selbst testen, ob es passt oder nicht. Jeder Fuss ist ja anders.Die "Treter" sind einfach nur billig für den Namen "KEEN"...nach nur gelegentlichen Gebrauch innerhalb von 6 Wochen löst sich bzw. reißt die Naht der Innensohle...außerdem fallen die Latschen eine Nummer zu klein aus.
