If you are looking for a trash can to hold standard 13-gallon trash bags, choose the 8-gallon sized model. It is much closer in size to a "kitchen" trash can than the larger model that says it can hold 13-gallon bags (which is only marginally true, as the container is so large that the bags don't touch bottom and must be stretched taut to fit the rim.)
