They're wool...For years I have worn genuine shearling slippers, but I eventually realized they were TOO warm, because my feet were also sweaty. So I looked for something that would keep my feet just as warm but with superior breathability.THESE ARE IT FOLKS!My feet are toasty warm even without socks, but they aren't sweaty at all! And they're sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosoft!!! Really I didn't buy them thinking I was looking for that feature. But now that my bare feet are against this lovely wool I am just in heaven!!!I wear a US women's 7.5 usually, or 8 once in a blue moon. I went with Euro 39 and have room for socks. I think if I went smaller, they'd stretch out eventually, but I'm happy with this size.
