This is a rugged, first class pack, particularly for the money. This is definitely up there with any pack that's more than twice what this costs. My only real gripe is that I wish it had more MOLLE webbing on the pack. I'd have loved to have seen some kind of MOLLE webbing all the way up the sides and some kind of gear webbing (a la the ALICE ruck) on the bottom of the pack--for the MSS carrier, for instance.I realize this isn't designed to be a longterm pack so much as a day pack or something along those lines and for what it's designed to do, it does a superb job.The 2.5 liter bladder (Camelbak-esque) seems durable, although I've noticed the bladder "bunches" from the bottom up if it's empty.I have yet to truly take this pack out on a thorough field test, but from what I've seen so far, it's inspired confidence. I'll update this review in the future on how the pack holds up.For my needs, I'd classify this as a 3 season pack. It's not large enough to carry everything I'd need for staying overnight in the frigid winter, but other than that, it's the perfect outdoor pack for carrying my sniffle gear, food, etcetera.Received this pack yesterday and as I had read other reviews about the stitching, I immediately began to examine and stress them. All held together well, all are stitched with heavy thread. The pack itself is decently designed, has ample room to add other molle pouches, and the hydration bladder is as good as a camel back.I will be using this pack as a range bag and a predator hunt day pack. It will be carrying ammo, extra clothes, DOPE book, 1st aid kit, etc. As I packed it up last night to organize I realized that the bag as it sits has ample storage in the main pockets, and the molle pouches that come with it are perfect size for my first aid kit in one, shooting glasses and ear protection in another, and I haven't even used the middle back one yet. It will most likely carry some paracord, some food, and other misc. accessories.Really, for $51 delivered to your door, this pack is great. The water bladder works fine and seems to be fairly good quality. Capacity wise I have a USGI goretex bivvy, cooking kit with over a weeks worth of food, survival supplies, tarp, and after I stick a micro sleeping bag and a poncho in there it should be about full. Ergonomics are fine. I have probably 25lbs of stuff in my pack and it rides well. If I toss in a few pairs of underwear I bet I would be fine for a few weeks with what the bag can hold. Build construction is robust & excellent for the money. Seems tough enough. I'm trying to limit the weight of my pack to no more than 30 pounds, I don't think I'll ever have a problem with it falling apart under that load. OD color matches other Condor brand items I have bought in the past perfectly.I recently bough a backpack to use for a BOB, and it wasn't the best quality or right size I needed. After much research and searching, I found this Backpack at a local Army and Navy store for a ridiculous price.I found it on Amazon for just over $25 on a clearance type sale, and I couldn't be happier with it! It is rugged, huge, and still has room for more stuff after filling it with my complete BOB list It is very comfortable to wear with a full pack..As a bonus it has the 2.5L Hydration bladder included. I would absolutely recommend this bag as a BOB backpack.Pack seemed to be ok quality for the price...Then I got it packed for a 2-day walk and primative camp out. Last step: filling the hydration bladder and my canteens.Set the pack down and...what's this? There's 2 liters of water everywhere! I had assumed that I just didn't get something closed--but in the 60 seconds it took me to remove my very few pieces of gear, everything was soaked and there was standing water in the pack! Even after drying everything out, it smells musky. It's a good thing I didn't wait until I was actually walking out the door; it would have soaked my car or worse--I could have died of dehydration when the majority of my water just flowed freely to the ground.Turns out the problem was the incredibly cheap bladder included with this pack. The straw port is just sort of melted onto the bladder, and about half of the seem was leaking. So here's what gets me: Fox didn't have to include a bladder. It was supposed to just be kind of an extra. So why include one at all if it's of such poor quality control that it leaks like a sieve and ruins the nice, moderately-expensive pack?I would expect better from a namebrand company like Fox. From now on, I put no extra value in the Fox brand. At a "Plan and Prepare Expo" this past weekend, I learned I needed a backpack with the hydration bladder in it to be prepared for a disaster. A friend there had one with him that I admired greatly but was way out of my budget. I found this one on Amazon.com for much less and purchased it.It is equal to the one my friend had, however, it includes more with the movable pouches on the exterior, the hip belt and padding and added straps that can handle items like a flashlight, pens, knives, ammunition and things I haven't even thought of yet.I could not be happier with this purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for quality, price, features and more.Backpack is of great quality. Large and removable pockets, good carrying handle, molygear attachments are solid, thick polyester protects from the elements well. Adjustment of the straps was nothing too difficult, just know you will need to re-thread them cause they ain't snug or tight from the factory. bladder is adequate; make sure you clean it before use. the sleave that holds it is seamed well. takes up alot of space in the compartment, but that's just the nature of having 2.5 liters of water in your backpack. the back padding is very thick and able to withstand punishment (it won't lacerate easily without determination). If you need an ACU Digital backback with all the above, get this.
