The bike is actually really cool, it’s wider than expected and I still have no idea how to compact/fold it. The seat is not comfortable and tilts weirdly, but that’s easy to swap. The frame is definitely sturdy, though. So as EVERYONE seems to mention it is so challenging to put together. The seller was quick to send videos which was awesome, but the instructions are clearly for another bike, but similar enough to get you close. Each and every step takes some thinking. I’ve put together a few regular bikes and struggled here. I also took it to a shop for an issue I was having and the look of dread on their faces let me know I’m not alone. I didn’t use them and eventually figured it out from the tutorial videos the seller sent. Ok so here goes:All bolts are where they belong (usually a good thing) but after searching around in the box for 10 minutes fearing a missing parts situation I finally realized they were on the parts they belong to.The screw driver they sent was flat, every screw needed Philips. The front tire instructions were for a different bike entirely. Loosen the break pads to get it done.Fender screw set up different than instructions or at least misleading. Some end caps and finishes missing. No rear fenders on this model even though that was a step in the manual.Screw was stripped/ too small on bellBack break is total crap and doesn’t engage enough (after much ado because it was almost impossible to properly set up) there is a lot of weight back there so the front breaks get the job done, but I would like a back break that stops instead of just barely slows. If this was a single tire in the back you’d flip head over heels with this one.It is unusual to ride, but I’m getting used to it. Uphill is hard, again all the weight is in the back of it.You won’t be unhappy with the purchase, but if you can’t have it put together professionally at this price and that cost it may not be worth it. This part is seriously a headache and I still don’t feel confident that it’s completely safe. FYI I would NEVER let a child on this. Best of luck to you! It's cheap. Very cheap. Make sure you a bike mechanic. The instructions are generic in a lot of places and only 50% match the trike. The quality is very low. The front shocks are FAKE!. Just metal that looks like a shock. Be prepared to rebuild EVERYTHING and replace parts. I am a mechanic/handyman luckily. For example, the brake levers wobble up and down over an inch due to so much play in them. Can't be tightened due to just being a loose rivet. The seat shaft is too short, so you can can't raise the seat enough to ride it unless you are a child. The basket took an hour to assemble because you got to figure out what is inside vs outside of each piece, the best locations and how to crimp the 16 metal strips that hold it together, and you have to bend a lot of the metal tubing where it's supposed to connect. I'm waiting on a longer seat post so my 5'3'' wife can ride it, she's too tall! I also replaced the front crankshaft. You will have to rebuild it even if you don't replace it because the bearings were over-tightened. I've already spent about 6 hours rebuilding this thing. If she likes the bike, I will probably replace the unsafe brakes. There is no rear reflector and no place to put one, because there are no rear fenders like in the manual. At least it's cheap and the only folding trikes you can get are these things from china. The tires are off-road tires that have more rolling resistance on the street, but they look nice. Also comes with paint scratches, gouges, bent metal.Basically the bike is nice with a good quality in addition to the excellent communication and follow up from the seller, amazing supportbike is great.. directions are upside pictures.. better to you tube the directions or have it put together. low star because of directions!!So, despite all the nightmares I've read about instruction and sturdiness, my bikeologist easily put this together without even glancing at the instructions! We found them hiding in the box later ^_^ Not only that but he pointed out two things: 1) the bike was extremely well packed and the travel axels serve this purpose; 2) a little grease goes a long way to make piecing things together smooth. He also stated that everything fit together/lined up perfectly and he didn't have to force it at all. I watched to be sure and he really did seem to be enjoying himself. Still, while I have experience putting together several children's bikes, I'm glad I chose a pro since I didn't at first with my e-bike and that made me cry while struggling with it.Aside from assembly, the bike is beautiful, sturdy and just the right size for me! I'm really glad I made this purchase! The assembly through Amazon is overpriced and has poor customer service though so I'd suggest finding a shop or mobile specialist in town. The bike is nice but not without a flaw. Seems the handle bars don’t offer much room for NICE grips. Love the green pearl colorGood luck putting it together! The instructions are out of order and sometimes show a totally different model.I'm 5'1 i bought a 20 inch which as way to small even though it goes to 5'3 size. Iris was very nice but unhelpful regarding the product. I felt the description of the bike was misleading. Plus I loved the color. Muchas felicidades!!! Estamos muy contentos con la compra.
