In particular, my dog loves it. I have two agility performance dogs -- I was using 24" wire crates and working out of the car at dog shows, but my younger dog is longer and bigger (running 16" class) than my Masters dog who runs in the 12" class. With the medium Trixie crate, the young guy gets 30" of floor space and is very comfortable and it still fits in the back of my European SUV with the seats up. Your mileage may vary -- measure your cargo floor!It is not simple assembly, but it does NOT take 1-2 hours for 2 people as the instructions say. It took me about 45 minutes without power tools on my own. It does require the right sort of mindset that can visualize how it's supposed to go together.My criticisms of this crate: The floor is too slippery and I will need to add a bumper mat. It's possibly too hot on the hottest days in the summer -- add fan, cool blocks, or frozen water bottles. It's hard to secure a water dish.Edit: I've been using it over a year now. Still like it. It's NOT too hot and I've been paying attention. Still don't have the best water dish set up. Thinking of a bottle. Also the floor is really slippery and if your bumper mat is a tad too large the door doesn't shut easily. Still and all, I am agonizing over trying to slip a second one in next to it in lieu of the 24 in wire crate!2020EDIT: Still happy with the crate. Using it for a 15 lb 14 inch agility Sheltie. Very roomy for him. Now driving an X5 BMW ... lots of room behind the crate for other show needs such as chairs. Crate has held up well although my Shelties do not chew or scratch their enclosures. I use this crate daily, and see no need to replace anytime soon.
