I like trash cans with open tops (instead of step, swing, or touchless tops). And I like stainless steel trash cans with curves that help them blend into my living spaces. They help me reposition the can in my kitchen, or carry it outside to my back porch for lunch with a friend, or carry it into another room for a task like decluttering.I also like that all five Rubbermaid Commercial Products trash cans on this one Amazon page show their Country of Origin is the USA.I tested the 15 gallon Slim with a few brands of 18 gallon trash compactor bags. They all fit neatly when I fold their wide drawstrings flat over the outside of the rim. My favorite is HUSKY HK18XDS050W for saying they are Made in the USA.
