I searched for the "perfect" urn for dad and nothing came close to what I had in mind for something to represent him. Dad passed away on Jan. 16th, and I started looking around for urns a couple days later. It took me about an week to find this one. I ordered this on January 26th and it arrived to my house on Feb. 2nd.I couldn't be more pleased. The engraving of the aluminum is perfect and smooth. To have the piece within a week of it being ordered is fantastic.It's never each loosing a loved one, but if you are looking for something to house them in then you won't be disappointed.The hardest part was putting dad to rest in it. It took me 9-weeks to do so, but I did it. It helps to have 2 people to do so if you plan on keeping the cremains in the bag as you'll need one person to hold the bag at the top and a second person to shift the ashes to get them to go down in the urn.Be gentle with the screw-top lid as the metal threads are different. If you go too fast/hard then it won't screw on properly and you risk cross-threading the threads. If it starts to feel stiff, then reverse and try again.PS.
