I have purchased this item to replace my 15 years old Chinese MTB by Dynacraft. Let's make it straight, I am recreational rider, nothing extreme. Said that, make sure you set your expectations right. Let me tell you one thing, this bike rocks .... After some tweaks. First of all the saddle.... Stock one is OK ... nothing more .... I upgraded it to Wittkop one. Handlebar grips are OK, I replaced them with Hafny HF-152 ergonomic ones.My unit had some shipping damage that has been addressed by customer service immediately under warranty. No issues here.I added mud flaps and some storage bags for the phone and drinks to it but that is just for my convince. This bike is definitely head turner.Pros: decent quality, superb customer service, looks suggesting a pricetag of $600+, smooth ride.Cons: fork steerer came loose so you better verify all screws are tight ( assembly process in the plant needs attention), stickers on the wheels were not applied with care (2 or 3 needed to be reapplied to be seated properly, shipping damage (I would put it on the carrier though). All in all, if you need recreational folding bike that one is a win-win. Be ready to spend additional $50-$70 to customize it to your taste. It is well worth the money though.Edit 1 - 300 Miles plus on it. So far so good. I decided to upgrade rear suspension. Maroca hydraulic unit has been installed. HUGE IMPROVEMENT. Caution, it was not a plug and play installation as hole size for upper attachement was undersized (original bushing would not fIt). On the road this bike performs excellent. When going off-road one has to be aware there is pretty significant flex of the rear wheel resulting from the design and material being used. Price for a cool look of a 3 spoke wheel :) . I noticed some ghost shifting but it was most probably my fault not payng attention to what I was doing (1 to 6 and 7 ratio under heavy load).Upcoming upgrade is the front suspension. I am going to put hydraulic fork on.One thing that is to be mentioned though, my shifters had shipping damage mentioned earlier. Replacements shipped by customer service under warranty appear to be legit Shimanos with PNs molded into the housing. Shifters originally installed had stickers carelessly placed on the housing. Since I own two additional units (G4 and g7 sold by TSM) that developped shifting issues (addressed by customer service by shipping replacement parts) I have a feeling installed shifters were not true Shimanos (stickers with PNs rather than molded into the housing, screws with square heads, poor shifting). My rating of 5 stars stands since I set my expectations right for a $300 bike.Edit 2: 600+ miles, no major issues, thread on the tires has been consumed in 66%. My other 2 units (G4 and G7 by TSM) perform the same way. Stock tires will not last one season if you ride daily. I am going to replace them with Maxis Pace. Still, 5 star rating stands. I will do edit 3 at 1000 miles.Update at 1400 miles. All good until today. Rear wheel cracked while riding on the road. Luckily I crashed on te grass. Crack looks to be caused by casting issue. Similar failure occured on my other unit by TSM. I hope those are isolated cases. To make it clear, bikes are not used on heavy trails, mostly tarmac and gravel. I am dropping one star due to the failure.Last update: Eurobike replaced entire unit for me after the failure of the rear wheel. To summarize, great bike for recreational riding. I did some trails and it survived. Wheels are holding up. Set your expectations right and with that price tag you will be happy.
