I not only get into the holiday spirit this time of year, but I also get into the spirit of decluttering (and by "spirit," I mean necessity). I was past tired of storing my jewelry in my dresser's top drawer. Convenient, but wildly inefficient. So I decided to get a jewelry armoire. Wow, there are a lot of options available and from many companies! Traditional, modern, free-standing, wall mounted, with or without mirror or lights, etc. Talk about mind-blowing! There are a lot of great choices, but after researching, I decided to purchase Best Choice's jewelry organizer because this particular armoire has a large storage capacity at a great price - and it is a beautiful piece of furniture too.To get a good visual, I uploaded a picture of the inside of my new armoire with the light on (which is a great feature). I have a lot of necklaces and some of those are bulky, so the 48 necklace hooks really appealed to me - especially the hooks on the right of the cabinet since that space is deep. The majority of my big statement necklaces reside there. Bracelets are meant to either be hung on the necklace hooks or on the handy bracelet bar, which I also love. The shelves and drawers are too narrow to accommodate rigid bangle style bracelets. As a matter of fact, I will mention that I had to re-arrange my necklaces & bangles a few times in order for the unit to fully close, but rest assured it can be closed. For me, the trick was putting my really bulky necklaces on the right middle hooks, and my large bangles on either side of the bracelet bar.I also love that there is plenty of storage for my earrings. I am not much of a ring wearer, but there is a lot of room for rings. Actually, I found the ring section makes a better resting place for my post earrings, as the earring section seems more suited for dangly earrings. (Plus I am notorious for losing my earring backs which makes it difficult to place post earrings there). As I mentioned earlier, the shelves are drawers are narrow, yet still useful. I personally use them to store my other bracelets, hoop earrings, delicate necklaces, broaches, and pins. The promo pic showed sunglasses, watches and nail polish can be stored on the shelves as well. Also, on the right side there is a sewn in pouch. I don't currently use it, but it seems like nice additional storage for smaller items that are not frequently used.One last thing I would like to mention is I saw a few negative reviews about this piece with regard to the mirror. I have owned this armoire for several weeks and I can attest the mirror is real glass and it is great - even if it is a glaring reminder that I really need to end my love affair with junk food.Even though I'm a long-winded person by nature, I didn't intend my review to be so long. I really wanted to relay my recommendation of this piece. It is beautiful and it truly holds a lot of jewelry - comfortably. I absolutely love it!
