First I want to say how much I like the look, got what I wanted there. I ordered the 24” and the 36”. Installation fairly easy. The unfinished wood was excellent without the need of sanding. Here are the issues- The 36” when hung was off by about 3/16”. The back of the door is the mirror and has no protection of the glass on the back side or support for the wood frame, causing the droop. Durability may be a problem in time. Making the cost not worth it. A wood stop was needed on the frame opening side in order to keep it from flexing when opening and closing. The plastic coating to protect the 36” mirror was difficult to remove and a sticky residue remained. The film was not flat but lots and lots of creases. This took hours and several rolls of paper towels to remove. I’m still in the process. The note on the doors tells you not to use any chemicals on the mirrors but necessary. Goof off and Desolvit both are having a difficult time removing the sticky residue. The 24” the film was flat and removed nicely, however, this door measures 23 1/8” leaving larger gaps for a normal 48” closet door. This purchase is not recommended if you do not have patience and want durability and longevity. Otherwise, I love the look, however, I will need to be careful when youngsters are around.
