I didn't even know what hybrid WAS, I LOVE MY NEW MATTRESS. It really has help with my pain, I was so surprised.I want to get another one for my home, this one we put in our RV. Sleep in peace!I've only owned this for a month. I'll update this in a few months to give a longer term review. My son and his girlfriend slept on it a total of 3 nights. I've only napped on it a couple times. My son complained that it felt like sleeping on cement (he prefers a softer sleeping surface). The description claims it's medium-plush. I would have to disagree. It's definitely firm and not very plush. You tend to sleep more on top rather than sinking in. Value for dollars, in my opinion, is acceptable, not great and not horrible. As far as longevity, a little difficult to tell at this point. It seems this mattress would work well for a guest room that doesn't get everyday use. I'm not sure it would last for the average 8 years most people keep their mattress before replacing.Love this mattress, finally found one that was just rightWell it never reached 12 inches in thickness .I ordered medium plush it's pretty firm.
