I really wanted to love this pack. It has everything I need. It's super comfortable with one exception, and that is why I have to return this pack.Pros: Even though it's one size it fits my 18" torso perfectly. The back mesh support frame is superb and rare for hiking pack this size. Weight is on the heavy side but not as heavy as similarly ventilated packs of this size on the market, and once properly fitted it doesn't feel heavy at all, even when fully loaded. No zigzag compression straps on the side mesh bottle pockets which is a huge plus. On my Osprey pack I have to remove them because all they do is getting in the way. Organization is good too. Built quality is very good and seems really robust. Color is quite beautiful (the orange is darker than depicted on the photo). I didn't use the hydration bladder so no comment on that. This is the part that can easily replaced. Magnetic clip system on sternum strap is very convenient. Sunglass holder is nice too. The waist belt padding are thick and cushy and shaped just right for my hips, while the side pockets are very roomy for all kinds of nick nacks and even a smaller phone. Note: even though my Samsung S9+ with a thin case would fit inside the side pocket when the pocket is lying flat, they wouldn't fit when worn on the body due to the curved nature of the waist line.Con: this is a major one for me. The shoulder straps are uncomfortable: the end of the padded straps and the buckles form a hard bulge that rub against my inner upper arms and side breast area, right below the armpits. I have never experienced this with other Gregory day packs before. Something about the shape/length of the padded shoulder straps didn't work out for me. They curve too much toward my armpits compared to my Osprey pack. If it's slightly forward a bit I probably wouldn't feel the bulge. I have only worn the pack indoors. If I wear it for hours on a trail the rubbing would be a big issue. For reference I am 5'5" 120lb with a slender frame.Sigh. This would be the perfect day pack as it's extremely comfortable in every other way and has enough room to hold everything plus a hydration bladder in its own compartment. I am only taking off one star because I have read through all the online reviews and this is not a common problem. That means it's still a great pack. It's just not for my body.I took this on a hiking road trip vacation hiking 6-9 miles per day. Overall a great product and the hydration pack works great. The only reason for 4 star is the top part of pack it too tall and my ponytail gets caught up in it. Other then that, no complaints.I’ve been looking for certain features and fit in a hydration pack for a long time and this backpack checked all my boxes. The hipbelt fits perfectly and is comfortable. The mesh backpanel provided enough space for ventilation and helped prevent a sweaty back on a 5 mile hike. The only flaw I found was that my 24oz hydroflask only fits on one side of the mesh side pockets. I expected it to fit on both sides. The only thing I would recommend is investing on a bite valve cover.Love this pack! It’s the perfect size for a long day hike. I always recommend getting a backpack with hip support as it keeps the weight off your back almost completely. This size is perfect for an over packer. It carried my raincoat, 3 small containers of food/snacks, first aid kit, battery pack, bug spray, sunscreen, and other small essentials. Don’t forget it comes with a 3 liter hydration reservoir! It held just enough water for a 5 hour hike.Keep in mind the color is faded on their amazon pictures. I recommend looking at their website to see the true color before ordering. They’re much bright and more beautiful in person!!!!Fast shipping and the pack is amazing for the price. So impressed and happyThis hydration pack was exactly what I was looking for and was reasonably priced. However, it arrived damaged and had to be returned. I wonder now if that's why it was reasonably priced. So, beware if you buy this pack. The plastic water tube was badly crimped during packaging and/or shipping and could not be used. Since all other parts of the pack were fine, I asked the seller if they could replace just the water line, but that was not possible. So, the whole thing was returned.Used this on a long day hike and it was perfect. It held everything I needed and was very comfortable. I like that the water bladder comes with it. My phone fits in the padded hip pocket and I can easily grab it for pictures. The backpack is great!! Fits well, not heavy even when I add extra stuff inside. Looking forward to using it on all of my future hikes
