Instructions are pretty straight forward. Took a very short time putting it together. Seat is fairly comfortable, but I've been in ones that are better except you can't beat the price. You can adjust the height and you can make the back tilt or be stationary. I've also bumped the leather onto my desk many times but it seems to hold from a good amount of impact. Overall i'm very happy with the product especially for the price I paid. Most chairs in this price range seemed like chairs that were made for robots.
