My 10 year old hated is plastic cleats as they were very uncomfortable on long baseball days. Also some turf fields didnt allow cleats so he was resorting to playing in sneakers btu they were too slippery when the turf was wet. These are a perfect replacement with grip of a cleat and comfort of a sneaker. As he was outgrowing kid size of 6.5 which is the largest size in most shoes kids size- we went with a Men's 7 and it was a great fit and many more choices than the limited kid selection. Much more comfortable than the Nike Kid's Huarache which my other kid has- for about the same price.
