I am beginner and got these to learn skating.. For some reason I had to replace the wheels - I did not feel stable in my area where the street has debris (so I found that 65mm 78A wheels work better for me, but I will try these again...)Keep in mind that these skates do not have adjustable trucks.Regarding the sizing, I am normally 7.5 in shoes - I got these in size 6 and they fit perfectly.I love the wider wheel width and softness of the wheel for outdoor skating. The boots are very comfortable and seem like they will break in well. I definitely had to size down. I normally wear a 7-7.5. However, I bought the 6, and they fit great. My only issue is that when I received the skates the bearings would hardly spin. I unfortunately had to spend money on new Bones Redz bearings as pictured above (check them out because they are definitely worth the money), but am in love with the setup now! Please check your spin on your wheels and bearings by disassembling when you receive them to make sure the skate is functioning correctly. Bearings issue aside, I would definitely recommend these!The skate boot itself is very stylish and comfortable. However, the wheels are not the best and I had to switch wheels from an old pair of skates to the new skates. These will work while I am continuing to learn.This appears to be a good beginner skate, is comfortable and seems durable as well as having fun & stylish colors.However, Lenexa’s sizing guide was a little misleading. It stated to size down if you typically wear a half size. I typically wear 8 or 8.5 shoe size, and I ordered a ladies 8. After skating in them a few times I can tell that they are too big on me. The sizing recommendation should really suggest a full size down from what your normal shoe size is.The skates are very well-made and my granddaughter is 11 years old and she just loves them, the color is perfect for her.So i just got these skates today. All Pictures were taken as they were unboxed and i was trying them on. Please inspect your skates when they arrive!!They are soooo cute microfiber leather looks easy to clean and the lining is super soft. I have a D width foot and wear a woman's 9 wide i bought these in an 8 and they still have some extra length (but not a lot) so i put an insole from a ryka sneaker I love inside and they're a perfect fit length and width wise! The cushions are sub standard look like plastic and will be changed immediately, the wheels roll pretty good without any adjustment but i was just being lazy about it lol. Toe stops seem pretty good quality but i won't know until after our snow clears up to go outdoors. Sure grip velvet wheels in sky blue match these perfectly as well. One thing i took a star off for is one bearing is broken but i wasn't going to use them honestly. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and if you have a wide foot like me your search ends here! These companies really need to consider all feet aren't created equally.P.S. If i test them out and they aren't as good as i think then I'll update this review. Great job Lenexa!! Enjoy and please measure foot length b4 purchase. It's important! Size 8 skate insoles are 10 1/4in Vnla parfait are 10 1/8in and it made a huge diff in fit for me. I use my sons stroller with these babies and I am flying feeling like a pro…otherwise yeah I’d be stumbling & wouldn’t be able to give a review that gives these skates justice! But yes omg worth it!
