I bought these because I already have the chukka boot in the same style with the crepe sole and knew I loved them. As expected, these were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them all day without a break-in period and my feet felt awesome at the end of the day. I also got compliments on how great they looked all day long.Unfortunately, it snowed the first day I wore these and, although I was very careful not to get them very wet, a little snow did dampen the suede and it took some buffing to prevent damage. They still look great, though! The moral of the story is, only wear the suede version of these shoes on dry days!
