FUJI has high quality products. This is my second FUJI gi. For the first, I went one size smaller, which I can fit into, but it's not that comfortable. My thought was that I would lose enough weight to make it fit better, but that hasn't happened yet. My karate gis all feel great, so I wondered what would happen if I bought a larger size from FUJI. I went from a 4 to a 5, and it's like night and day. I feel SOOOO comfortable in this gi. It fits the size I am now (not what I hope to diet into) and it makes me feel like getting on the mat to roll. So that's what I would caution you on for any gi you buy-like with normal fashion, buy for the size you are now...you could, in theory, always add or drop 20 pounds, but why suffer with clothes or gis that are too loose or too tight? When you find the right size, it's a confidence booster. Plus, this gi looks good. FUJI makes gis that have personality. So if looking good boosts performance, get one of these gis...you'll be glad you did.
