I purchased this pump for my father because we couldn't find one similar in any local stores and this one was the same specifications as the one he had that burned up. His basement floods when we have bad rains, and here in PA, Mother Nature hasn't been very kind to us lately.I was very surprised at how well made this pump was and sturdy. It works better than the old pump that he purchased last year for more money than this one. I definitely recommend it for any space that needs pumped out regularly. It's definitely worth the wait of shipping, I mean as long as you don't have tons of stuff getting ruined. My dads basement is his work space on his vehicles and lawn mowers etc so it was OK for the 2 or 3 days to receive it on Prime.
