Went into the sea, came ashore, did some battle completely soaked, got sand in every cavity of my body, but the boots were already dry. Went to a forest, heat was terrible, other guys with standard issue boots were whining, but I felt like I had just started my epic day walking on a teddy bear. Yes, they are that comfortable. Doesn't protect from a 10kg rock falling on your foot though. But at least you're comfy and dry when it does happen.
