The locking mechanism isnt super great but it does hold it in place well. Just more annoying than a lever or a lock. The chairs are ridiculously comfy for a folding chair. There were a lot of reviews about these style chairs about the chords attaching the seat to the frame giving out. These seem nice even with our heavier roommate sitting in them. The nice part about these is if the chords ever wear out you can just restring it yourself with a sturdy chord from a hardware store. Only had them a few days but so far just absolutely loving them. They have been out in a storm and didn’t take any damage or show any signs of wear from rain so hopefully that holds up. The little tables are great also. We were trying to find a way to not have a separate table out on our deck and these are more than sturdy enough for a couple drinks and a phone and ash tray. I wouldn’t stand on them by any means but they do a good job to let us save some space on a small deck. Overall compared to a lot of other outdoor folding chairs these have exceeded our expectations especially considering 120 bucks for a pair is what some of the super fancy ones cost for just 1 chair. For now a solid 5 star overall other than the locking thing but that is basically be just being picky.These chairs are holding up pretty well. They are SUPER comfy too. I could never sit long by the fire because my back and legs would start to hurt but now I outlast my hubby! I’ve got one by the fire and one on the back porch so I can watch the sunset and I could seriously fall asleep in these! They are a little lower than expected so getting out after being so comfy isn’t always easy for me but I’ve got my system figured out. My dad who has a bad back would not be able to get out of them though because of how low they are. When reclined your can lick it into wherever you want it, just be careful not to put it down while locked or I imagine you could strip the locking bolt.These are easy to use and weird to carry but overall worth the money. The side pieces that hold your drinks in the cup holders will lean back with you when you lean back in the chair so beware of open lids because I learned the hard way! I just took them off and tossed them. It was just easier to set a table between the two chairs and no worry of spillage.I have used these all summer taking them camping, parties, festivals etc. and couldn't be happier with them. But what motivated me to write a review now is the duribility of the chairs. I had two of them stacked against my mudflaps of my 3500 ram and backed over them and redrove over them once I realized I was still on them. One chair is completely fine the other is a little bent but still fully functional!The product is simple to use, adjust position can be done quite easily. After a few month use we had one screw went lose on one of the chairs and the nut went missing. To my surprise the customer service offered an entire set of new chairs for replacement and the replacements arrived in 3 days. Amazing product support. Will definitely look at other products they offer.Easy to fold and unfold chairs I got for my husband and I to take out stargazing. These recline almost 180° and are very comfortable. They take some getting used to setting up, for some reason I have a hard time getting them unfolded all the way before I sit in them, but I haven't fallen over yet. They fold up very conveniently for my trunk and I think will also fit in the backseat of my Accord. A little on the heavy side but that makes me feel more confident in their durability.Ive heard so many people talk about how comfortable these are. And they sure do look it. But I didn’t think they were comfortable. You sit WAY to deep in them and it’s really hard to get out. Especially if you are older. I’d like to find these WITHOUT the leg extension. That’s what I am looking for.I like them!! I'm a careful buyer and read the reviews about this product first. Most seemed satisfied, so I purchased them. They arrived quickly and in good shape. I pulled them out of the box and was pleasently surprised on how nice they looked. The quality seemed very good too. Yes, they are comfortable in the sitting position. Of course not as comfortable as a pair of $500 cushioned seats, but they are comfortable. The trays work fine. Not sure why some described them as flimsy. This are a new buy (7-2022) and will update after a year of useage. Oh, and one thing. The foamed foot rests that are sold separately would be a nice addition. They are in my cart and ready to order as the place where your legs lie on these chairs hurt very quickly on that steel bar. Not sure why they're not included. Maybe it's the additional $30 to buy them. I'll try to make my own first from those Foam floaty bar things they sell at the dollar store. Overall, a great buy for the price!Very cheap quality, really flimsy, after a week of very careful use the plastic handles began to bend inwards. The seat itself is no way fabric but made of a very cheap and thin polyurethane which started to go waves right after the first use. I think they will be broken down after a month of use max.Also pretty narrow and low, not comfortable. The lockers of inclining are really weak and almost unable to hold the chair and you in any position other than close to a vertical one.Ready to return them before return window closes.When I first saw the product, I was delighted. Saw a crack in a plastic arm the first time it was used. Looked perfect outside, but noticed dust from from rust falling out of hole in metal when joints were moved. No communication in transit when requested. Just repaired it myself rather than have another long wait.I really liked these chairs until I left one outside one night when it rained. All the welds rusted. Expensive chairs for the quality.These are perfect chairs for any activity outdoors. Cool and comfy. Easy to set up and take down. I love them!Product is still in the box and put away waiting for summer.Looking forward to using them both.
