I rode in RAGBRAI this year and bought a new GIRO helmet from a vendor on Day 0 . It was incredibly comfortable and lightweight. I crashed on Day 3 and it protected my head sufficiently to protect me from a severe concussion. Wish I had had a helmet for my ribs! The helmet was cracked and was no longer usable. I purchased this helmet based on my experience with the first one I bought. I can only give it 4 stars because I have not fully tested it yet (i.e. I have not yet crashed!) However, I can say it is also light weight and comfortable, easy to adjust, and fits my head well. I hope I never have to update this review with crash data!!
