Very easy to assemble even for me. It came mostly assembled. Reviewers for cheap trikes similar this had terrible install experiences. This bike cost a little more than the cheapest competitors but looked like the install would be doable and it was. Good luck getting up a hill with a 3 speed. That’s why we went with this 7 speed. I took it to my local bike shop to get the shifting adjusted. They said the gears and shifting on cheap trikes are crap. He was reluctant to work on it because he said I may not be satisfied with his work as it may need adjustments regularly. The bike works great my special needs child so I said no problem. So far I am happy with what I got for what I paid.Very nice bike I gave it a four because it is hard to assemble and some of the pieces aren't as sturdy. The bike itself all put together is great. I am writing because of the customer service is amazing! Willing to work with you over any issues.. Thank you for all your help!!!Between the instructions and a YouTube installation video, we barely got this thing all put together. It seems like the instructions could have been a little (lot) more detailed, but assuming the gears actually change when we give it a test ride tomorrow, I think we somehow managed. All the pieces were included, but many came bent which made them hard to put together correctly. The wires for the brakes and gears seem to have odd lengths, and the front brakes do not seem to have enough tension in the handle but any tighter and you can't move forward. Let's just say that for over $300, I expected a little higher quality than what I received, but with some luck, it'll work for what we bought it for. The basket was the jankiest part of the whole thing, and we will likely find a way to reinforce it before it falls apart riding down the street.OK, first the assembly manual would have won a Pulitzer prize if they gave them for this sort of thing. Huge color photographs (not awful little line drawings) with good explanations. Unbelievably, it even seemed to have been written by a native English speaker. Although I don't know much about bikes, I fooled around with mine a lot as a kid. With that, it took me about 90 minutes to assemble and another 40 minutes for all the little adjustments. The quality is overall decent, but not great, but what do you expect for so little money? It is just fine for my relative who has stopped driving, and needs this to get groceries from the store.I wasn't expecting much from this product, but I was pleased at how it was packaged and shipped promptly. There were no missing parts and no warped wheels or damage to the fenders. It has a disk brake and caliper brakes that work as expected. The only hard part of the build was getting the derailleur bolt to thread into the frame due to the paint build up, but that was very minor. As well as a small scratch on the crankcase bottom, but that won't be seen. The directions were good enough with the almost hilarious translations. However, I do have previous bicycle repair and building experience that helps me out to some degree, but I think the written directions should suffice. Now, I might have to buy my wife one as well.At first I didn’t want to give this bike 5 stars , upon opening I found some damages , wrong parts and damaged parts , I contacted the seller telling them I wanted to return the the bike , their reply was not what I wanted to hear , they said go buy the parts and they would reimburse me the cost but that would have been a problem and still may not have worked and relayed that to them , as always they replayed immediately, again stating another way to solve the problem have the bike repaired tell them how much it cost and the would reimburse me . At this point I gave up went to a bike store asked them to fix it , I texted the seller gave him the amount and was told get it fixed and someone would contact me in a few days , again I thought to myself that will never happen . The next day I received a call from a young lady apologizing for all my problems, asking me give her my name , and address address and I would have a check in 5 days . I received the check the bike is fixed and it’s a good bike it was a pleasure to finally do Business with a company that keeps it word . All I can say is buy the bike any problem this company will help fix any problem ? and you will a pretty good bike at a fare price. It is a really fun tricycle and it looks great. I paid $130 to get it professionally assembled, and it was worth every penny. I have assembled many bicycles, but this 7-speed tricycle was so complicated that even if I was able to put it together, I would not have felt safe riding it. Even with the cost to assemble it, I would recommend it.I bought this trike for my wife who is disabled. This is a nice trike, but don’t buy it if you don’t know anything about bikes. I’m fairly mechanically inclined, but it comes completely unassembled. The instruction manual has vague photos and the worded instructions are terrible. I’m completely baffled and I’m going to have to hire someone that knows what they are doing to finish with the brakes, cables and derailer. The detailed is made of plastic! The frame is made of pot metal! The derailer is made of plastic and it fell to pieces when changing gears. The bike is no longer rideable! Junk! Junk! Junk!
