I purchased this to replace an old ourdoor bed for our dog, this bed is wonderfully poofy with a heavy-duty, durable outer lining. It's withheld rain, wind, dirt, scrubbing and hosing off and pretty much still looks brand new. Right out of the box it's REALLY poofy and a bit stiff. The abundant poof took some coaxing from me to get them to 'trust' it, but a few lie-downs from both pooches and it settled to normal poofiness. The durable material was a bit stiff, but the stiffness did not seem to bother them in the least and it's softened some. I love it - it's strong, is holding up and is still bright and vibrant.
