This is my fourth pair; three for hardcourt play, and one for clay court/omni court play. I have a relatively small foot, woman's size 6, with a high arch and slightly wide.Pros:The booty-style fit is the best and is what keeps me coming back. Snug fit without cutting off circulation. For me, sock thickness/thinness is key for the perfect fit (Bombas tennis sock works for me).Lightweight and flexible, the sole is not stiff.Practically no break-in time. My heal slips a little for the first two sessions, but not enough to cause hotspots/blisters.Cons:These must be perfect for flat-footed wearers, which I am not. I replace insoles with Sole athletic insoles (the red ones).Hardcourt play seems to chew through the sole lots faster than I remember for my old hard-soled Diadoras. The price for comfort? Primary area of wear is at the inside edge below the big toes. My clay shoes are looking like they'll last 10x longer. The top is double layer with the top layer being mesh. Playing on clay/omni court results in top of shoe collecting clay/sand. Not a functional problem, just an annoying one. Debris mostly shakes out, and they wash well.On my third hardcourt pair, the lace keeper, which is instrumental for pulling on the booty, broke the second time I pulled them on. I will just sew it back into place myself, but disappointed.Unless another booty-style comes along with better arch support, I'll be sticking with these tennis shoes.
