I decided I wanted an open face for this season of autox that was also legal for Optima since they require SA. I had been using an m2010 Shoei I bought years back since I also had motorcycles. I'm in between sizes for Shoei and the 2x is definitely too big on me.The fitment for the GF 2x was spot on with their measurements. Helmet is an exact fit for me. For the price point this is an absolute value. It's light and the quality seems decent, but remember: you get what you pay for. This is a no-frills helmet. The interior isn't removable. The visor is pretty flimsy and there isn't a snap on the chin strap.I'm on the board of directors for my region and also our novice chief. Since we aren't able to loan helmets due to covid-19, I have been recommending this model is the best choice for the price.Used once for autocross so far. Comfortable, good visibility. The only issue I have is that the cheek pads are a little much. They are fine for driving, but why I tried to grab a snack between laps, I couldn't eat without biting my cheek. I may try to take some of the cheek padding.Fits as it should and is not to heavy. Great helmet for the price. — used 20 + hours
