For a male ballet dancer, these have provided great fit, comfortable movement, and have held up well through many classes, performances, and machine washings. They are thick enough to give good coverage yet light enough to feel comfortable. Material breathes well and keeps it shape. Wash in COLD WATER, gentle cycle, and HANG DRY! Do not dry in the dryer to preserve elasticity and avoid weakening the fibers. Fit a 6'0" dancer very well. These are preferred over all companies and styles we have purchased. We have had NO PROBLEMS with tearing at the seams, but if you were wearing them too small and did manage to rip them, I believe they would repair easily, and I say this as a ballet costume mistress. We are sticking with these.
