Arrived on time. Pretty well boxed up and only one screw was improperly installed without a usable head, so I cut a new head on it. I have been riding and repairing bikes for many years, and I built this bike for my wife's birthday. I used my own tools and didn't touch the supplied tools. It took me about 8 -10 hours to assemble and adjust a few things that almost fit but needed a little more persuasion. I had to figure out the shifter and brake cable routing and I had some difficulty attaching the cheap chain master link. The axle shaft and bearings were assembled too tight at the factory, so I had to dissemble, lubricate, and loosen the entire axle shaft, bearings and drive gear before the wheels would turn freely. The welding on the bike frame appeared to be done by an amateur in a hurry. The welds appeared sturdy enough but were pretty lumpy (see photos). My wife who knows nothing about welding even commented that the welding did not look even, smooth, or professional . The paint looked pretty good and it is a nice looking trike. The instructions were OK but left out a lot of vital information, like how to adjust the derailleur and brakes, which is complicated and probably impossible if you have never done it before or never watched a YouTube derailleur video. I could only get 6 gears out of the 7 gears to engage. Right now my wife uses only the low gear, so I will probably never need to get the last high gear to engage. I strongly recommend that anyone without bike or mechanical assembly experience, or without a good set of tools should attempt to assemble this bike. Get someone who knows what they are doing assemble this bike for you. When I filled up the front tire the bead sheared off the tire and tube exploded. I never had that happen before. This was the last step in the assembly process, so the bike sat for 2 weeks and after my wife's birthday before Mooncool first shipped me the wrong size tire and then reshipped me one a little smaller than the other 2 tires, even though I specifically provided the actual tire size. So now I have one smaller tire in front and 2 larger tires in the rear. Looks a little like a hot rod. There was no charge for the tires and tubes. I got much better customer service when I used Amazon online to get in touch with with the vendor, Mooncool. I didn't get a response when I emailed their website. The fenders are really thin aluminum and arrived with a few dings, I asked for a replacement, at first they didn't reply, so I asked again. Their reply was to send them photos, which I never got around to sending. My wife and I are not happy about the dings on her new birthday present. I even considered returning it for this reason. Its a pretty nice looking bike and just sturdy enough for grandma to get a little exercise while slowly cruising around the neighborhood or going to the market. She likes the exercise and the grand kids like to sit in the basket while grandma pedals.Ok where to start? This bike is considered "cheap" but it wasn't for me. Straight out the box I thought it was a lot of work for the price. ($345.00) I thought if I spend that much on a bike ? I should be able to ride it as soon as I get it. It arrived August 15 and I still haven't had a opportunity to ride it yet. (Sept 1.)The ?seat: won't allow room for you to put your butt all the way on it. If you have a lot of butt or back you may want to consider changing the seat otherwise you're going to end up sitting on the edge which is uncomfortable. Then the clamp won't stay in place and the seat tilts backwards and forwards depending on movement. I purchased a suspension seat post and replaced the clamp so now my seat doesn't move when I sit on it and the seat is nice and comfy.Slsy & Mooncool was SO nice about helping find a seat that works. I message them and they sent me a solution right away. The right brake handle came bent and I had to wait for a replacement. It is easy to bend out of shape so be careful during assembly. The handle bars have to be tightened very tight or it will move when your trying to get on the bike. The gears take some time to adjust. I currently have four instead of the advertised 7 because adjusting the derailer and the H and L screw is taking longer than anticipated. ?The basket might be challenging too mines keeps coming unhinged. (pics below)I chose this bike because I have a hip injury and Im heavy. I wanted something I could ride without falling off to get me to and from my local grocery store.Im disappointed that its taking so long to ride it.The company however has the best customer service. They respond quickly, and they make sure they help to fix anything wrong. But wooo???.I don't want to wait any longer and I hope I don't have to spend anymore money to get this thing moving. If I am able to ride around my city it will all be worth it! I hope I can make it a E-bike in the near future.Love how it looks, seems sturdy and well built. Could use a wider distance between rear tires for better cornering. Very comfortable to ride. The amazon professional assemblers struggled to assemble properly so required some serious additional help after they left. Follow the directions carefully especially for the derailleur installation and adjustments (low and high screws). The rear fenders did not line up with tires very well and require some tweaking but overall for the price was good. It’s a decent trike once you spend several hours assembling and adjusting it. I hired a bike mechanic to assemble and adjust and it was quite time consuming and challenging even for him. After Trike assembly I aired up the rear tires, no problem. I aired up the front tire and the tube exploded at 40 lbs. Ordered 2 new tubes from you per the specs on the old tube 25/1.2 1.75 and installed the new tube.I aired it up to 40 lbs., and it exploded. I an discussed at this point and need your help for a solution. Please help.Neal DunwoodyOver all a decent bike. It's definitely not as solid/sturdy ad the Schwinn Meridian. And it feels like the pedals need to be moved forward. It's a little difficult for myself or my husband to ride due to the pedals being directly under the seat. It puts a lot of work on your thighs. But my daughter doesn't complain and that's who we bought it for. Cute bike with gears and bell and basket. Wish it had a brake lock because it tends to roll out of the garage on it's own.
