Unsure why they simply listed this as "Bell Off-Road Helmet", but its the MX-9 Adventure, a dual-sport helmet. This worried me at first as I was concerned this might've just been the original MX-9. Luckily its the MX-9 Adventure, and you can also see that by looking at the photo - since the face shield extends to some side hinges, making it a flip-up face field. The original MX-9 does not have this.For the value, the MX-9 is an excellent buy. It's worth noting the reason why helmets such as the Arai XD-4 are so expensive is that they're hand-made, not necessarily because they're the safest or safer option. So you're savig a lot of money by going with a helmet made by assembly line/automation, and yet this helmet is still not just DOT certified but **ECE certified**. It's also pretty comfortable and an all-around good dual-sport helmet.Good looking helmet, safe.Purchased for my son and he really digs the look of it. He thinks it seems a little tight but no doubt it just needs to mold to his noggin. Also it came with a fairly nice storage bag. Overall we're very pleased so far.This seems like a well built helmet. It is comfortable and doesn’t feel heavy. I wouldn’t say it’s light weight, but I don’t think it’s really meant to be light weight. So far I am very satisfied with this helmet.I've been wearing my Bell MX9 Adventure Helmet for a month and I am very happy with it. It is very comfy, feels sturdy, and has great ventilation even in 100-degree weather. I have no regrets about this purchase.
