I have been boxing for many years and believe that hand and wrist health (as in with almost any sport besides running) is paramount. I consider strong hands and wrists the gauge to overall upper body strength, since without it, we can not perform the basics. In boxing, we can frequently injure our hands and wrists over the years, and saving wrapping time by using fastwraps can be really helpful. I really wanted these to be a more useful tool than they ended up being for me.PROS: Pretty good design overall. Good wrist padding, and good placement of this padding on the knuckles. Helps with not having the knuckle pads get pushed back when gloves are put on. Nice strips between the fingers, which are velcro so they can be adjusted.CONS: Ridiculously overpriced. Granted, these may be the best fastwraps so far, but in no way does that warrant a $100 price tag. These were probably made in China for $6 or $7. Not only is it important to market a product wisely, but to simply be respectful of your customers by providing value for their hard-earned money, to me, is important as well. Bad wrist protection and support. Half of the purpose of these wraps is protecting the knuckles, and the other, and arguably more important half, is wrist support. These are lacking in the latter. Once on, there is a velcro strap for closure, which for myself, simply can not be pulled tight enough to offer any support. On top of that, the velcro strap then sticks up and out(pictured), therefore needing to be taped down or wrapped to avoid obstruction and give proper support. Personally, I would prefer a single piece, non-velcro sleeve which would be pulled over the hand and wrist, but then more sizes would probably be needed to meet the hand and wrist size of users. However, the wraps should solve the issue of wrist support all on their own. To counter this, Fortress included some additional wraps which I suppose are to only go around the wrists, because they are comically short, to the point of being absolutely useless. I mean, I really don't know how anybody in R&D with Fortress would include handwraps like this and honestly believe they had any use. The fastwraps must be taped at the wrists, which kind of begins to contradict the purpose of the wraps entirely. Lastly, if you own gloves which are already tight with no wraps on, using the T1s may possibly be too cumbersome to make the gloves fit properly and comfortably, leading to hand numbness if tied too tight... not a good thing.Overall, good idea, but needs some serious refining. 3 stars may have been too generous.Over all I really like these but I expected better quality for $100. The stitching for the wrist velcro was broken and half gone on both sides. I needed to use them soon so had no choice but to sew it myself... Another issue is the knuckle padding. It's probably twice as thick as it really needs to be and this makes it very difficult to put my boxing gloves on.Just took the wraps out of the box and the white strap looks like someone had already used it. It’s yellowing/brown at the edges as if someone had already sweat in them. Not worth the money nor troubleone of the wraps that came with the speed wrap did not have the piece where the Velcro attaches to it which was disappointing for this price point but wolfbite, the Amazon seller was quick to rectify the issue and will be sending a wrap to replace the defective one. Props to him for the quick and easy customer service. With that being said, these are hands down the best speed wraps I've used. I've used a couple of brand name speed wraps as well as the ones we find here on Amazon for workouts/bag work but I eventually kept going back to my Mexican wraps. With the t1 wraps, I know I will be using this on a permanent basis for my workouts/bag work. Be Warned though, the padding on the knuckle is THICK, so it might be harder than usual to get your gloves on. For me, that's a minor inconvenience given the fact that my knuckles, wrist and hands are very secure. Once you get your hands inside the glove, it feels comfortable. Overall, I would totally recommend these wraps, as of right now 12/23/21.Quick update 1/7/22: I bought another pair and I can really this time that they need to work on quality control. First wrap had a missing velcro attachment piece which was rectified and the second one came with no tag indicating left or right. Now, it's not a deal breaker since one has the tag and you can assume where the other is supposed to go BUT for a pricey product, I don't think they should be having these little mishaps. It is too expensive to have these little qc issues. The stitching where you attach velcro at the top of your hand is also not that great in my opinion as it feels like removing the velcro will eventually pull it off if you are not careful. I would understand if these cost 30 dollars or so but at 100 bucks a pop or a little less if you buy it from their website, all these little qc issues are very disappointing and a little annoying to be honest. I still love using these but I do hope they improve on these things as the product and the idea is the best in the market. I don't think I can recommend this for beginners or people who are trying to buy products that are worthwhile. Maybe if the QC issues are addressed, then I will definitely recommend these. For now, I would only recommend these for people who have the extra cash lying around. For those who are trying to find a long term solution, just stick with mexican wraps or check out mexican wraps with gel padding, i know title has a good one.Note: I will be updating this review after 2-4 weeks of use to see if it holds up.I've tried em all, and this are by far the best built speed wraps out there. Maximum protection for your fingers and wrists, and importantly very light and breathable. They feel just like your trainer wrapped your hands for you :)
