Great durable trash can. I wasn’t sure this would be worth the money, but it definitely is. It gets abused every week as the trash truck has an extendable arm/claw that picks up the can to load the trash into the truck. My return on investment will pay off quickly as my trash company charges extra to use their lidded trash cans. I may actually purchase a second can. Delivery team was kind and thoughtful too. This was a win-win purchase!It's hard to maneuver and doesn't hold as much as I thought it would- maybe because the bottom is more narrow.Use case: collecting gutter water during winter for summer use. Can say how this will last yet as just got itPros: size, larger wheelsCons: manufacturing quality is average (or below).Using this vendor was a nightmare. BewareMine did not come with the clamp for the wheels and it does not work properly. Other than that, its great. I called Robbermaid and they dont ship just the clamp so...i have to improvise.We have two of them and they are clearly missing parts for the wheels. The wheels freely roll forward or backward making it difficult to actually roll these trash cans. Looking at the bottom, there are holes marking where, assuming, the bracket should be that holds the wheels in place for easy maneuverability. Attempted to contact support and still waiting a reply over 5 days now. Guess I’m dragging these down the driveway for now…I have tried to contact this company SO MANY TIMES via email and phone over the past 3 weeks *EDIT - PAST 2 MONTHS* and cannot reach a real person! Recording says that they are closed for the day or everyone is in a department meeting. No response to my emails. The bottom of the trash can has an axle that needs to be secured with a bracket and screws. The holes are there for the screws, but those and the bracket are missing. The rollout garbage can does not roll - it is VERY difficult to move. IT IS USELESS!Our other Rubbermaid Brute rollout wheeled trashcan came with the bracket and screws to stabilize the axle and wheels, this one does not. The trashcan is unusable and Rubbermaid Customer Service absolutely SUCKS. Very disappointed with this ONE HUNDRED and SIXTY-Five dollar piece of garbage! Buyer beware.***UPDATE: June 14th*** This garbage can is itself GARBAGE. Tried several times to return it but Amazon Return takes me to the Rubbermaid Customer Service phone number. They STILL do not answer their phone! One Hundred sixty-five dollars is a LOT to pay for a piece of garbage with NO RESOLUTIONS from YOU nor the RUBBERMAID COMPANY! FED UP!**UPDATE July 8, 2022** Received an email from Newell/Rubbermaid Customer Support with a link to a survey about my satisfaction with their Customer Service. I am STILL out ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE Dollars with NO resolution**This thing is sturdy and well built! The kids is incredible and stays put!Meets my expectation for a heavy duty , large trash can.Very well made and huge garbage bin. A little difficult to get the wheels hammered into place - but I did it. I am not the strongest person and did not have a rubber mallet to whack at the wheels, so I used a regular hammer and a wooden shim to protect the piece of metal being whacked. Once it popped into place, all was good. To make the bin more animal proof I used stretchy cables with carabiner ends on them over the lid.This is a good bin. However only two stars because the lid is disappointingly weak and showing signs of wear (small cracks) after only one use. For the cost this is unacceptable.
