First things first. My son got a scooter for his birthday. Now he's zooming around the park and having to stop and wait every minute or so for me to catch up on my slow feet. So we ordered this for me to keep up with him. The major selling point was that it has a 300 lb capacity for riders. I'm currently about 280 and working on reducing that, so 300 lb capacity was perfect.Fast forward to receiving it today. I'm looking through the "Before You Start" section of the owner's manual and it clearly states 220 lb capacity. I then look at the scooter itself and there's a sticker on it that also says 220 lb capacity. Confused, I look up the item again. Nope, it says 300--oh, wait, down in the expanded description with all the graphics, it says 220. And if you search through the asked questions, you see others with the same issue. The seller misled about the weight capacity.Nevertheless, I tried it out and it rides well. I had to adjust the front wheel alignment, as it was off by about 5 degrees, but that was easy to do. Assembly was quick and easy. Rides fairly smooth, though that's hard to tell due to our driveway being a bit rough and bumpy. The handlebar adjusts to the height I need it to, and it appears to hold my weight despite the capacity rating (many items with weight capacities are actually rated higher than they claim due to OSHA, state versions of OSHA and excess of caution).However. The rear brake. It does not stop you, even on a flat surface. It only slows you down. Looking at other reviews (my wife bought this for me and must've missed those review), I see other complaints about the brake. If you're going downhill, you either need a runway at the bottom to slow down with or you need to jump off the scooter to get it to stop.Because of those two fairly major issues, I can only rate this three stars.I am going to do further testing with it later today at a park with trails for bikes, scooters, boards, etc. and see how it handles there. If I feel it will hold my weight well enough, I'll keep it.If I feel it'll break in a month, though, I will return it.I really like this scooter the only thing I don't like is the rear brake, it doesn't stop very well and I usually have to jump off to stop. The scooter arrived a day ahead of schedule which was awesome! It had everything we needed in the box to put the handle bars on the scooter. We tightened the screws around the scooter like other reviews said to do. We tested the folding switch and it works fine just make sure you hear a click to know it’s now in the stand up position while folding it up and be gentle with the folding mechanism because it could break or snap off easily if you do it too roughly. It’s made of plastic. The weight says no more then 220lbs but people bigger then that have rode my scooter for a little while and had no issues. Great time to start scooting around now that spring has sprung! Should be lots of fun! Price is great for what you get out of it too! Some say the strap gets in the way while they are turning the front wheel so far I have not had a problem with that whatsoever. The kickstand a lot of people have said did not come on theirs but be sure to check underneath the scooter and the kickstand should just slide down fine like mine did. Hope this helps! Happy with my scooter! I thought 4 stars was fair for now as I have only had my scooter for a few days now. This scooter is amazing, it can ride through any pavement, i love the strap handle, i ride through SDSU campus, i really do recommend this productThis item supported my weight without issue. Only complaint wish it coasted longer. The larger wheels helped when going over bumps. Overall happy with product would buy again.Children aren't the only ones who can have fun on a kick scooter! My husband and I use these to get around town. Not only are they fun, but they're great exercise too! These are sturdy and good looking. We even purchased cup holders for the handles so we could scooter down town to the local coffee shop. These are the talk of the town! It’s cute. I’m not an avid scooter user, however I might just start. I bought it for easy transportation from my parking spot to apartment and now I use for casual strolls as well. I’m 300 pounds and it doesn’t feel unstable. It also really fast but also depends on how you push yourself. I started testing it’s limits and speed has no constraints product wise, it only goes as fast as you push. I wouldn’t take turns going regular speed or fast unless you are pro. I fell off today testing out a new curve and I lost control but that was on me. Oh it also doesn’t get stuck in cracks it obviously can’t go over largely uneven cracks but regular street cracks are no problem. My favorite part is the speed stopper thing in the back I guess you can call it a brake. It slows down smoothly but not to a complete stop so you don’t experience the sudden thump of stopping. It looks like the picture I’m to lazy to take pictures you can take my word on it I’m very picky.Purchased and have used on different occasions. I was disappointed with the product details this is only rated at a weight capacity of 220LBS but advertises as 300LBS. The wheels have absolutely no give every time you ride over a small lip on the scooter you feel it. The scooter handle feels a little flimsy however I haven't broken it so it's apparently it's holding up. I would recommend this product however I'm not sure about the products durability over time. The wheels are especially my concern the brake chews up the wheel and barely slows you down. Good luck hope this was helpful.I bought this scooter for my oldest to go to and from school, thinking the folding design would be handy if he needed to hop on the bus. However, the lever to fold the scooter was too stiff for him to use. I was able to move the lever with my foot, but after the sixth time we folded it, the plastic lever snapped off. I had to use a set of pliers and considerable effort to move the broken lever so that he could at least ride the scooter. It'll still work as a scooter, but it is no longer foldable. I would not recommend purchasing the Cityglide if you are interested in the folding mechanism. This thing is awesome. Weighing in at 265lbs. This scooter can hold all the weight and then some. It’s fast and glides for a long time. Would recommend to all heavy bastards out there.Works well and feels solid but makes a loud rattling noise at the foldable hinge when I use it on the street. I'm not sure if it's defective or should be tightened up. I'm considering returning it.I bought this scooter to ride alongside my daughter who is not feeling to learn to ride a bike just yet and who will eventually transition to this as a teen. It has adjustable height and big rubber wheels for all terrain, it’s foldable and has a shoulder strap for east carrying. The scooter has been tested by a 9yr old (75lbs), all the way to my husband (220lbs) and it is sturdy and rides well. ??Der Roller wurde sehr schnell geliefert und war sehr gut verpackt. Die Endmontage ging sehr einfach und schnell. Die ersten Fahrten mit dem Roller haben Spaß gemacht. ?
